KIDS CARNIVAL
MUSIC CONCERT & PLAYS
This production will illustrate a musical sonic narrative from church pulpits, backwater juke joints, to the favelas in Brazil, the Harlem social clubs to the 1940’s Central Avenue Jazz scene in LA, American Bandstand and the 1970’s Soul Train line, from the Reggae sounds of Bob Marley, to the Nigerian sounds of Femi Kuti. There will be performances by some of today’s most talented and prominent children's artists from Film, Television, and Music. Electrifying performances will bring the spirit and vibrancy of each decade of music into the present and will likely inspire further inquiry about the various musical eras and genres referenced. Children will write, produce, direct, and do all stage and lighting work for the festival.

After a full season of educational mentoring programs, Children To Save Our Planet will present an unparalleled music and cultural festival experience. This culminating event will bring together all of the children participants from various educational agencies worldwide. The event will use edutainment (education and entertainment) and theatrical production to reference 100 years of music history and theater as a catalyst for teaching children the who, where, when, why, and how connections to the evolution of music, art, and theater in from around the world. Children Working To Save Our Planet will present Children’s Educational Bowl as an idiom for entertainment and educational tools to highlight significant historical events similar to the way in which the recent theatrical hit Hamilton has done.
